What is The Saddest Song You Know?

    There's this Finnish song that I often have trouble finishing.

    It starts with a farmer leaving his wife and twin kids - to go to war. Then you get the young woman hugging her fiancee at a railway station. The train is just about to take him to war. Then the men end up killing each other.

    Given the songs back story, this one is pretty darn sad. I can't imagine anything worse than loosing a child.

    This song gets me every time!!! Especially Lane Staley's haunting voice! Love me some AIC!!

    I think this is about not wanting to live and not being able to relate to others...my interpretation, at least.
