Could also be Ocean Turquoise! :)

This link --a 1982 faded LPB Strat -- shows a similar darker color that I believe Fender now calls Ocean Turquoise. There are a lot of photos there with different lighting that certainly look similar.

So it could very well be that faded LPB, now Ocean Turquoise, is the FSR color of your Strat.

Looks similar to EC Mercedes Blue to me.

I called them, and he showed no info on file. I know its got those pickups, which if you could help id those as well, I would be much abliged, lol, Fender locking tuners, F logo on the neck plate, etc. So it may be a partscaster, but I didnt think so, well actually the neck pocket is dated July or Aug 19, 2001, so it is for sure the right neck and body. Thats why I am stumped.

That's what I first thought too - the first photos sure look like it. But that may be the flash playing tricks.

I think the pic @bluejazzoid posted is more closer to OT than the original posters pic.

I found this picture with the one in the middle being called EC Mercedes Blue, but other than the locking fender tuners and the upgraded vintage styled pickups, I wouldnt think its a clapton strat...

I'm almost inclined to believe it's Charcoal Frost now.
That body is the key, since it seems the Serial is bogus. Without a legit # Sensei, I'm just not sure anymore....too many good examples. I'm still banking on the fact it's Gunmetal Blue.

The serial is correct, the neck pocket is stamped 2001, just like the neck serial number. I do know that some of their FSR guitars didnt have very good paperwork or documentation, according to Fender.

And when I spoke to Fender, they said that the Gunmetal Blue was available in a satin only in the year range. I love odd colored strats, just never fun trying to chase down the color.

Looks like a blackish blue. I’d call it Mexico sparkle black blue.

Have you seen those guitars that are Satin when someone polishes them? Looks pretty glossy. So if GMB was available, maybe yours is polished? Just a thought. If it plays well and you're happy? Play her to death.
