It seems bluer than pewter or charcoal frost.
Darker and less greenish than faded LPB.
My best guess would be Mercedes blue.

I think it looks very much like EC Mercedes Blue to me.

    Another idea.

Fender Japan did a colour called Indigo blue which looks very much like it too.

I don't think it's agave blue. I had a lefty in that color:

Wouldnt that make it a Clapton Strat, and the dates match on headstock and neck pocket, 2001 MIM. Did they paint some this color and not do the Clapton thing to them. His had a maple neck also. This one has Fender locking tuners, and those upgraded pickups in the photos, I am truly stumped.

Majority of folks from my previous post said that this was Mercedes Blue color. To save you from reading the last post, It is a Mexican made Strat, the neck serial number and neck pocket date coincide, it has Fender locking tuners, & upgraded pickups, which I dont know if either are factory or not. And from what I read the only one they offered in that color were the Clapton strats, and that isnt what this one is for sure, no signature on the headstock, and neck is rosewood, not maple, so what could it possibly be, just a random FSR that they have no info on, because Fender could not find any info on it. There is a pic in my previous post that shows Mercedes Blue with the 2 other blues that had been mentioned, and mine is definately Mercedes Blue, any help would be appreciated. Pics uploading.

    Nice colour, either way.

Swapping out your plastics for black would look sweet. Maybe even go with a nickel covered humbucker in the bridge........SICK

Metallic blue is the color but I'm sure Fender would call it something else.
