As I sit watching the Dodgers game, surfing Strat-Talk on my mobile, I've noticed some of us have posted stuff using what I assume is an app, called "Tapatalk".

Of course I've seen this before here, just saying I'm enjoying the game lol...

I just use my phones Chrome browser and plug away.

    What's the advantage?

Tapatalk is great. I use it.

Best thing is, all your forums (yeh, I know it's "fora" but that sounds pretentious) can be in one place, so I got TDPRI and ST all in one place, plus a couple of others.

It also has a dark mode.

... and why does it need to 'brand' every post made with it ?
Kinda like a dog marking its territory.

I don't need the world to know, with every post, what s/w I'm using.

"Sent from my tablet using FireFox"

Good question. I just looked, and you can turn that off in the settings. I'll find out later if it's worked. But for now, "Sent from my creaky old work laptop using Chrome, on my lunch break, I hasten to add". :D

I thought tapatalk was a parallel universe.

It's the evil twin that has been kept secretly in the attic, being fed on buckets of fish heads...

Oooooops, did I say that out loud?

Cool. For a while I feared it was the other end of Stratman's toilet.

Last time I got trapped up there all I got was 24 missing hours and I couldn't sit down for a couple of weeks.

I may start adding a similar tag as I use a few different computers at home and I take one of the laptops to travel!:thumb::D
