Why would I feel guilty about listening to something I enjoy?

Occasionally I'll listen to some of the 1970's Disco & Easy Listening Pop of that era.

You never know what cards musicians might have up their sleeves, especially if they have a certain
amount of fame associated with a particular style.
i've heard that there were a lot of Nashville session folks that played jazz after hours in local clubs BITD,
and played it quite well. You'd never have known it from the many recordings they made, though.
This guy was one notable exception:

Brings back memories - I played guitar in a 1978 pirate production of RHPS at the New Orleans Contemporary Arts Center. It was...interesting to say the least.

I can't find any evidence on the web, though.

I've heard a lot of rock guitar players express their dislike for ABBA.

My comment: "If you haven't been in a band and played ONE ABBA hit correctly, then shut up."

It might be fluffy pop music, but it's high-grade fluffy pop music.

I have no musical guilty pleasures. I will listen to anything that I like because I like it. And if somebody else doesn’t like it, too bad.

I got some flak from someone who once asked what I was listening to and replied with the Neil Diamond Christmas album.

"Guilty" is relative, but I've been a huge Frank Sinatra fan since university...

Mom's actually passed on now but I'm sure she would disapprove. LOL

    None. If I like a tune I like it. If I don’t I don’t. That simple.

So… I guess good music is my guilty pleasure.

I like lots of music that most people wouldn’t expect by what I play on guitar but there’s no guilt. This is a killer pop song and every time I’m flipping through the stations and it’s on I leave it and it’s on all the time.
