Oh yeah, naps rule!!!
Yes mine wakes me up at 1:00, 3:00, 5:00....
I wake up on the weekends immediately thinking about a riff that I need to work on or some tweaking that may or may not need to occur on my guitars. It’s a sickness but I love it.
Lately, been working to 2-4am a lot of nights and the kids get up around 6am. Sometimes I'll get to sleep until 7am.
During the week I'm up at around 5am. On weekends I sleep in...6am
put me down as a 12:30 to 6:30 sleeper...
How many hours of sleep do you all need? I’m generally good if I get 5-6hrs. If I get 7 I’m over the moon.
If my eyes open, my mind is awake and my day begins. Usually this occurs naturally around 6am-6:30.
During work week however, I need to be up and showered by 6am. Can't penalize students for tardiness if I can't set the example myself!
I usually fall asleep 11-11:30 so I get by on 5.5-6 hours. I probably need more but who has time? I'll sleep when I'm dead.
When I feel like it.
6 hours is what I need to operate.. but that is plenty
I need 8 hours minimum, or a nap the next afternoon.
Usually 4am. Sometimes I have to start work early at 4am, then I'm up at 2am. On the weekends I'll get lazy and sleep in till 4:15am if there's no alarm.
Oh dear. This is going to make me sound like a total weirdo. I go to bed about 2:30 in the morning and wake up somewhere past 11:00.
When I used to work on newspapers that had ad sales operations in the UK and the US, the US sales guys loved me, because I'd confirm which pages their client's adverts were going on straight away. Even LA could get an answer out of me until about 7:00 in the evening, their time. Due to the different time zones, the main UK office wouldn't confirm that until the next day.
I don't work on newspapers any more, but old habits tend to stay with you.
Now that’s a cool story.
I start work at 6am, so I need to get up just before 5am. I am pretty exhausted sometimes. I need to work less and play guitar more.
Daily? I have a fairly regimented schedule taking care of someone so I usually start my day about 4am.
I'm retired so I rarely have to get up at any particular time.
However I usually wake around 7.00am, get up and get orange juice and tea, then surf the net on my Ipad for a couple of hours. Best part of the day.
Wake up at 4:30am, leave for work 6:00am.
Today, Saturday, my 11 year old had a soccer game at
9:00 am so we woke at 7, had a 40 minute drive to the Rockaways.
I miss being young and waking up still drunk-
