I say SD antiquity for 3 reasons.

    1. I want some my darn self
    2. They’re not active.
    3. They’re not noiseless.

But if decide to sell them send them my way.

All the parts you need are there but you may have to move a wire or two. Looks like that one is wired to split the coils in a H-S-S setup according to the ad copy.

I like having 1 loaded EC pickguard in my assortment, easy enough to install a loaded pickguard when you're ready for a change.

IMHO the most cost effective way to have different sounding Strats is an assortment of loaded pickguards and a few Strats you like how they play.
I pick them up when I see them, usually very reasonably priced.
A lot cheaper than a Strat.

    Hi, @Electgumbo -Buddy

I believe if you want the push pull pot to turn on the neck and bridge together, ?the link below has that wiring configuration :)

Well no guts no glory… I got the American Performer wiring harness and those Seymour Duncan Texas Hot Antiquities. I got a old pickguard to put the EC circuit on until I want to use it again.

Nobody well read this but I’ll ask anyway ? Do I copper shield the guitar before installing the new pickups?!!

Nice to see that idea put forward. I've picked out the two strats I have that feel best to me and am setting them up to be multiple guitars in one, so to speak.

I love the feel of my EC and my AS. Haven't done the EC yet but I used @Stephen James setup to have easily/quickly swapable pickup sets. For the EC, which had noiseless (2nd series) I set up ones with the 1st series Fender/Lace golds and another TBD, either some Lace Smokey Visionaries or the Lace Anniv. set.

Nice thing is, with that 3rd set, I can easily just attach different sets of pickups to the guard and try them with the EC control set without doing any soldering. It was so easy, in fact, I used the same thing to set up my "testcaster", using a standard strat control set, in order to compare various pickups in the same "environment". Takes 5 minutes or less to swap them out.

To some degree the existing control set is modifiable as well since the capacitors/resistors are all easily swapable due to the fact that they plug in and are not soldered in place.

Once I get both the AS setup the way I want it, the next step will be to experiment with different control circuit panels. Then the variety with just those two strats will be more or less endless.....and takes your idea just a step further.

I read it....just to make sure giving the Toad Worn to me wasn't an option.... :D.

But yeah...why not shield it? It's a keeper, might as well give it the deluxe treatment. And then if you decide to do something else that might actually require shielding you don't have to sweat it.

If you already have it apart, it certainly won't hurt.

Ok completed the Toad Worn today… got the Seymour Duncan’s installed
Along with the American Performer harness. The harness had wires missing that I did’t notice until of course I thought I was finished. The wires missing were the ones needed to turn on the front pickup anytime. You can get that front and rear together Tele sound. You can get all 3 at once. It’s a pull pot on the second tone … like the American Performer. Which is what I ordered from Stratosphere… it was all there and it did work after I checked a schematic on line and added a few wires. You can see where the wires were removed from the connectors… why remove them??? Ah well it’s not my first Rodeo so I sussed it out.

I can dig it. I love the 2 pickup front and rear combo for that Prince Hohner Mad Cat sound…. Ain’t we funking now??? All dat Kiss type stuff. Over all the Seymour Duncan’s Antiquities Tex Hot are some very nice pickups…. Very very nice.

Anyway it’s all back together and sounding very good. This guitar is a feather weight and it’s nice to have it back.
