I'm sorta fickle on most every Thing in life....
Good point...did not know that could be done.
I love soft 70s rock. SiriusXM's The Bridge is one of my presets and something I like to listen to in order to wind down. This sort of thing:
Good music, of almost any style or genre, excites me. Pulls me in, to listen. Makes me focus on it.
I can't relax if I'm hearing good music.
Where's the button for "Yacht Rock"?
None. Music inspires thought. I can't listen to any without thinking about what I'm hearing. In detail. It does exactly the opposite. Worse, it can often aggravate.
I made some recordings a forever ago of rain in the woods, waves at the beach sorta stuff.
Only criteria was that I had to be far enough away from civilization that cars and sirens and aircraft and assorted city sh¡t was not included.
That is what I relax to.
I drift off to ocean or thunderstorm recordings.
Atmospheric black metal is pretty good to relax/fall asleep to.
Doesn’t the corpse paint make a mess of yer pillow?
I can't fall asleep Listening to music, but if i want to mellow down and relax i'll usually listen to AM Gold or some early R&B
something like this --->
Right now.... Japanese Rockabilly
My lulaby favorite is Riviera Paradise tho
And there's always Wing.
Folk, by a pretty long shot. But it's not necessarily my first choice in listening most days.
Classical chamber music, such as the string quartets of Schubert and Mozart, and small combo jazz, like the Dave Brubeck quartet and The Modern Jazz Quartet.
Japanese Koto music.
Burning incense helps too.
