When I first started out my dad gave me this old relic:

Then I got one of these:

(Didn't have enough sense to get a DS-1.)

It's kinda funny, back in the day I thought the boss pedals looked kinda cheap with the thumbscrews, so I bought DOD's.

The orange and green, I think last iteration of the Univox Superfuzz. The pots were scratchy and the footswitch required alot of abuse to engage. I ended up throwing it out. Now they are selling for like $500.

I remember running a keyboard thru it for ****'s and giggles. Good times.

Behringer now makes a similar clone but with bass and treble controls and a boost function, that gets good reviews, you know, for behringer.

On a similar note as this thread, it is said cobain had one, which was stolen, then his tech built him one.

Its just a nasty, gated maybe, octavey fuzz.

It had a switch, one choice was a nasally fuzz, the other was a scooped somewhat big muff type sound.

First actual pedal was a Cutec 2 knob compressor.

Not too bad, does what a compressor needs to do. And nothing more...

First real pedal that I regularly use is my Dunlop Cry Baby volume wah. Older 535Q with a boost/volume control, not the newer one with the different wah settings.

Borrowed EH LPB1. The old one that plugs directly into the amp. First one I owned was a Boss DS1. Never really used it as it has too much dirt for my tastes.

Got this in about 1987 or so from my dad for Christmas. Ibanez chorus. It's on my board right now.

A Rat from back in the late 80s. A shame I sold it years ago. I bought one recently just to because I had to have one again. Love the sound.

A "Big Muff Pi" (Don't know where to get the "Pi" sign here on the keyboard.

Bought it at a pawn shop- barely knew what it was...but I sure found out! (Wish I still had it...for resale purposes!) Seen some of the plain front triangle go for upwards of $600.00 !! IIRC I got it for $30.00 and sold it for about the same. 1976 or so...may be off on the year...

I used it on one song; the only song that required one. "Satisfaction"
