A 50's Les Paul gold top with P90's. Preferably the exact guitar Sean Costello is playing here:
Something the Beatles played, then I could sell it and buy anything I want!
Yeah, right ?
Or a Monkee's Gretsch. Hell, even Davy Jone's Tamborine would probably buy an island.
Party pooper alert!
It’s not going to happen. Forget about it.
Fun to talk about, but more productive to focus on what you CAN get and MAKE IT HAPPEN
I just want an SG exactly like this.
That ‘59 LP thing just strikes me as funny. Back then LPs sold so poorly (no rock & roll bands were using them and no young players) that a couple years later they quit making them for about 6 or 7 years.
Same here, but a '56.
It would also be stuffed with $100 bills from someone trying to supress unwanted resonance.
For once in my life I'm pretty happy with guitars already own, but just because I could, I'd opt for a 1958 Gretsch White Penguin, just to see how it plays.
I’m a casual Dead fan at best but Rosebud is such a cool design.
The best feeling and sounding early '60s Strat I could find. Bonus points for it being Fiesta Red.
Just to play the Devil's advocate, in this scenario, couldn't someone grab some of your gear, and then run off with it? We could lose a beloved instrument.
2011 MIM Standard Strat in 3 color Sunburst.
