90% of the time, it's the strat and the fender amp, with the Bad Monkey for solos. Bare Knuckle PUP's were a massive improvement over the original lace sensors - I had the original lace sensors and a Seymour Duncan Hotrail added next to the bridge lace sensor. It had an extra switch to choose between the lace or the hot rail, or both together, and coil splitter on the hotrail. The PRS still had a better humbucker tone so I decided to turn it back into a proper single coil strat and I'm glad I did.

Not big into effects but am currently trying to decide between a tube screamer and a blues driver.

Depends on the situation. Tonight it was MIM Strat into Vox AD30VT, practicing for Little Shop of Horrors.

Last week it was Parker Fly Deluxe, split, mags into BBE OptoStomp compressor, to Boss GT8. Piezos to Zoom acoustic processor, combined by Morley A/B and direct into board, line from the direct box back to a Squier Champ for my monitor. That was for recording for Choir/Gospel DVD.

Try a Digitech Bad Monkey - check out the harmony central reviews. Back to back with a TS-9 Tube screamer, many people prefer the fuller tone of the Bad Monkey - and it's much cheaper!

I've actually played around with a Bad Monkey pedal and will admit it wasnt bad but in the end, Im not a fan of digitech pedals.
