Where do you sell your guitars?

It's just a question. Here in Italy we have this huge website (mercatinomusicale.com) where we ad guitars (basses and all instruments and gear) we want to sell or trade and even some big guitarshops ad their guitars in it, because the majority of guys uses this website.

There is something on Reverb.com and on Ebay but they're poor compared to Mercatino. And that's not possible because the rest of the world does have more guitars than we in Italy, of course.
So... where do you sell your guitars??

I've found out that in Germany they have Kleineanzeigen Musikinstrumente.

Sorry for the naive question, but I have this doubt for years...

I list on eBay for a price I know is higher than anyone would pay, then when people get interested I conclude a deal privately under the auspices of "viewing".
I then flip eBay the bird and pay them squat. Screw eBay.

Its very difficult to sell guitars these days I find..
Nobody seems to have any money and/or the market for them has shifted so far towards buying new cheap Asian gear that nobody really wants to save £100 on a used one.
    At least in my area..

Its hard in Europe. Stuff is so expensive to begin with and people are often cash poor or travelling more than 100 miles is such a hassle people can't be bothered.

Here in Germany we have a subsidiary of eBay called eBay Kleinanzeigen which is a general used market app. I’ve sold via this platform exclusively and so far it’s been pretty great, but many think it’s not safe enough because the admins don’t really interfere with people scamming others

That is probably "Gumtree" in the UK. eBay subsidiary with no fees. However also no safety net.
We call it "Scumtree" where I am from .. Because all you tend to get are "Skip rats" turning up at your door asking if you'll take a tenner and a kitten for it ..
I jest. Had no issues with Gumtree tbh. As long as you are clear beforehand what's for sale and at what price etc.

I find keeping a few over a dozen on hand keeps the GAS away...

Like to only sell locally, in person, with cash. Its really gotten to be a pain, though. Every buyer wants it for a steal, every seller wants top $

In the US the three primary marketplaces or Reverb, Ebay, and local sales via Craigslist or a couple other similar sites. I've used all three and had success with all three.

Due to selling and transaction fees and outrageous shipping costs I've been trying to sell locally via CL as much as possible defaulting to either Ebay or Reverb only if it doesn't sell locally.

Popular gear moves quickly when priced fairly. Odds and ends like necks, bodies, parts, etc. and less popular models take longer. IME it all comes down to having some patience.

If there's no time for that or you're a person who hates dealing with prospective buyers and lowballers then simply trade what you have for what you want or sell it outright to a store.

Could you give me the names of these similar sites? I can't believe that you all handle most of your trades on Reverb and Ebay. In Italy only we have much much much more more more guitars on the site I mentioned in the first post.
You must have something hidden that you don't want to share with us Europeans. :)

There's really nothing hidden unless it's simply a domestic site without international exposure like Ebay and Reverb and those sites do get most of the traffic and the highest volume of sales and purchases.

The sites I'm referring to are most similar to Craigslist and I have not used them but as I understand it Facebook has it's own marketplace and there are a few others like Nextdoor. Perhaps other members can add to this list.

I would also shop the classified here and on other gear forums. You'll find a lot of sellers moving their unwanted gear through those listings.
