    2. My first guitar, a PowerPlay Strat copy, was probably the worst I’ve played. Not sure I’d go as far as burning it though.

    3. Maybe Blackie or Rory Gallagher’s, but as they’ve already been said I’ll go with Gary Moore’s ‘61.

There is a museum in the basement (The Vault)
The guide asked if anyone played guitar
    To which I acknowledged
Then she hands me DA's strat
    Played amazing as I remember
Neck was very comfortable and smooth

    2. None. The weakest of the bunch was a 2010 MIM Standard but it was very far from deserving such an end.

    1) My modified 99 MIM 70`s Classic
    2) Non
    3) Blackmores first ‘74, but as the neck of that one is «destroyed», and put aside, it has to be his ‘77.

    1) My 1959 Strat that I traded a Norlan era 335 straight up for in 1975.

    2) I’ve never wanted to burn any Strat.

    3) My old 59 Strat for one more day would be nice.

At the time (1975) it was a fair trade and when I sold the guitar it was at a time right before the prices exploded. I tried to buy it back a year later and the price has quadrupled for it and it was way out of my reach.

I had a Norlin LP custom and I was glad the day I sold it. Wish I'd gotten a 50's Strat instead of cash.

Holy Heck. I’m heading there if I’m ever in London and if it’s still there.

    1. What’s your favorite Strat that you’ve owned? For fender it’s one of the three EJs I owned. For S style guitars it’s my Silver Sky.

    2. What Strat that you’ve ever owned would you want to burn. AO 60’s.

    3. What Strat that you’ve ever heard of would you like to get a chance to play for one day? EJ’s Virginia or a vintage 54-57

My 1991 Fender Standard Stratocaster MIM is my favorite Strat ever. The 2014 American Standard I got a few months ago is close. I've had my balls busted for putting over a MIM Strat so strong but it's just a great guitar. The neck is incredible, has perfectly set frets from day one (which gave a bit of credence to the old legend that the Ensenada factory used American bodies & necks in the first year '90-'91). I overhauled the electronics several years ago so it's not a 100% MIM example.

Although I wouldn't burn any guitar the biggest dog in a Strat configuration I had was a budget Rogue model I was given. I have heard that Squier made these but they were still dogs; I think it was like the Sam Ash house brand or something. This pic is off Reverb and looks close to the one I had.

I'd love to play/own one of Pete Townshend's modified Clapton Strat's. The Custom Shop put out a limited edition like his of only 75 guitars so the prices are insane on them.
