Ha! Thanks Bob. Use it well and play the hell out of that tune. I can't swear it's 100% accurate but I think it gets fairly close.

After all this time I don't remember exactly how I found this forum---possibly from a link on the related Tele forum, but I couldn't tell you how I ended up there. I've stuck around because people generally give pretty good advice and they appreciate the same things in guitars I do, more or less. And, every third post is not about some whiz-bang special Les Paul that cost more than a decent used car. I really don't care for Les Pauls.

I'm here simply because of my love of Stratocasters and this seemed like a good place to learn more about them, and it has been just that. I've learned a lot from many of the experts on here, special mention to Guitarmageddon, who helped me with his knowledge and advice in the midst of his own serious health issues. I hope you're doing well Guitarmageddon. I'm really just here because of my love for the guitars.

Came here looking for info on how to setup my guitar in 2012. Been a member ever since... I don't comment much but I read the threads almost daily. Great info, great community.

Hello, I came here years ago letting people know about my '65 Strat. I came back again and again because I found interesting conversations with the ability to reply. I still have the '65 Strat and play it regularly.

To hang with folks having a similar interest. Feeds the brain a bit and can be entertaining at times.

It’s like a really bad movie that you can’t not watch it or turn off.

I came looking for strat advice in April 2011 and I guess I never left.

Think I first stumbled in after buying an el cheapo Johnson brand strat looking guitar, and was trying to tweak a few things to make it more playable. Guess I’ve stayed because the cannibals check their teeth at the door and the girls will get up if you ask them to dance.

Plus great sharing of stories, music, terrific witticisms and sophomoric humour. Some good barbecue recipes. And I guess for me too, through the time when my wife was diagnosed with the brain tumour, then died, and I was struggling learning how to be a single parent, getting them back to school and me back to work, this was one of the only stable places in my life. So many of you were really giving with your time, private messaging encouragement, etc.

Now, would any of you ladies care to dance?

Looks like came looking for something on Strats in 2010. I’m guessing that’s when I bought my strat. Before that it was P-bass and teles.
I’m not really here a lot as you can see from my post count. As I’ve gotten older I’m in and out of my interest of playing guitar. But I’ve always have liked this place. Give me about two weeks and I’ll probably disappear again for awhile.
