Yeah I can’t even get out of the house and go for a drive! It’s only been 4 weeks now into it. I’m starting to feel the cabin fever coming on.

I generally don’t care what people think is cool or not. Most of my junk that I like people probably don’t like. That’s fine. It is the golden era of the Internet and people can say whatever they want really. I’ll just have to filter through the weirdos and start using the ignore feature.

Bingo! Shape your own experience. It's amazing what a degree of control will do for your outlook.

Oh man that list could go on for days!! There’s seriously I lot of things I don’t like. I just don’t feel the need to post about it. I didn’t realize there were threads already on going about this. I know I’m no better off then the guys posting their BS attitude towards Subarus or roasted necks, no2 pickguard thinness or material.

Also just to add, I’m fine with the things people don’t like threads but back it up with reason why. Not just because you think it looks funny, stupid or not to your taste.
Cats are the one thing on my list I like besides vintage fender anything

You should take advantage of the time for some quality guitar time.

Oh there’s always a guitar sitting next to me in the couch including that hideous one with a roasted neck. I can’t even look at it anymore because it has a poop stain neck and 1 ply pickguard. I can’t even get into my garbage Subaru because I’m afraid of it breaking down.

All these horrible things I own are mentioned in threads going on right now. Not that I give a crap but still it kinda bugs me a little. Deep deep down.

It's just that people have way too much time on their hands. The natural and logical consequences of a highly technical and developed society. In days gone by the overwhelming majority of a person's time on earth was spent on activities core to survival. Gathering food, shelter and defending against predators. Today we live in what I used to call the 'star trek' economy where only a small percentage of folks are engaged in these things, or indeed even manufacturing tangible goods. The idea was an economy such as this would leave humanity free to refine itself, pursue art and science for it's own sake and thereby benefit all.

Not so sure it's really worked out that way. Maybe, we'll see. I have my doubts. Frankly folks oughtta spend more time wearing out their guitars and not worrying about what they don't like.

The problem with "posting" comments as opposed to making them in real time with real people, you can't read the room, without additional cues people won't know you're being sarcastic or joking.
A lot of what I read posted is just people thinking out loud, something they wouldn't do in room full of people.
