Wiring question: Split humbuckers

I'm wiring up a loaded guard and want to do split humbuckers with two push-pull pots (CTS) on the master volume and master tone knobs. The switch is a LP-style switchcraft.

The humbuckers are wired as:
  • The RED wire is hot positive.
  • The BLACK is ground negative.
  • The White is Coil Tap (splitting for push pull pots)
  • The SILVER is shielding ground.
I've found lots of wiring diagrams with red, green, white, black, and silver, but not this set up. Can anyone point me to a proper wiring diagram as I appear to be easily confused.

So this is the wiring I think you want without colors.

Then you just have to match it with the specific colors of your pickup:

It really is that simple.
The 3-wire humbucker does not allow for phasing options (other than putting the neck out of phase with the bridge)

I too have seen, and been confused here. Sorry, I don't have the answer for you.

Curious, though . Have you put the ohm meter on the leads? Is red and black the full coil? White and black the tapped coil (less kohms?) .
