I've seen snow... a couple times.
We had it a couple weeks ago already.
I feel for ya bud.
See the white stuff less and less here. Global warming seems to have substituted warmer but wetter weather.
No thank you
Here, mid November, 15°C...
I'd like some snow.
And so it begins. Hey, for the middle of November in Ontario that's not so bad.
We had a couple of inches here in Albany a few weeks ago too.
I'd seen Canada geese flying South early this year, and was worried that we might be in for a real old-fashioned cold & snowy Winter this time around.
So far, so good...
The snow's picking up here...
I miss snow!
Just hook up the dogs to the sled and have fun
We had a little tiny bit a week or two ago for a few hours that didn’t stick but today was the first real day. It’s here.
Feels / looks like snow here, nearly cold enough for it.
Warms back up to near 60°F (15°C) on Friday through Sunday.
No thanks keep it, we will be getting ours soon enough and I’d rather totally pass on that stuff. Nothing but a PIA.
Record high temps here in Phoenix. We hit 90° yesterday which was a new record. Will summer ever end?
And what's all that white stuff on ground over by you? Better get the broom...
Has been in the 70's here, days of sunshine... 30s today & snowy. But nearly 70° this weekend.
I shovelled that stuff for hundreds of hours , growing up in Northern Ontario, Canada.
I call it "white crap from hell".
It's just a little gloomy here. I can't wait for Winter!
We typically get snow in Nov/Dec/Jan and sometimes later here on Whidbey Island. Sometimes as late as March. Been dealing with windstorms and power outages currently, which is the norm.
As soon as I see flakes though...TIME TO TAKE A DRIVE TO THE BIG EMPTY PARKING LOT!!! WOO HOO!!! And when it gets thick enough on the roads I bust out the my old Yankee Clipper sled and head up the hill. I've even road that thing down the hill to the bar when the road was too slick. Gets a lot of laughs and I get beers for letting other big kids take a ride.
So for me, snow is a nice treat, but if we had those socked in winters I wouldn't be as cheery about it.
We've only had a dusting so far this year. That is more than enough for me, but we have a lot more coming in the next few months. Did I mention I Hate Winter! ENJOY!!!
