His first solo release, apparently. Search for artist "Mammoth WVH" on your streaming service. Here is the vid
You know...I tried to listen to this thinking 'would I still like this, if this wasn't EVH's son?'.... And yes, I still liked it. Its has a cool, 90's alt rock vibe going on...not sure I expected that but its def not a VH-clone. But the fact that he not only wrote it, and played all the instruments, including sang it (!), and then picked it is as his first release and dedicated it to his old man just makes it that much more special. I hope he goes far.
Do you want to know something? Valerie Bertinelli and Eddie look just like each other...like a brother and sister. Basically Valeri looks like a female Eddie. She sure was a cutie on that show starring Ann Romano & Mackenzie Phillips.
Good song, good voice...he's got talent and I'm pulling for him to succeed. He seems like a pretty grounded guy.
He's got another one out as well called You're to Blame. It is really really good! It has the 90's alt rock vibe as well. I think it kicks serious [email protected]! My brother recorded it off of the Howard Stern Show and sent it to me. I cant find it anywhere online though. I think he is extremely talented. I hope it works out for him.
This isn't the picture but similar. There was an ad that Kramer did when I was in middle school, i think, that showed them both. He was leaning against his amp and she was sitting on it. Both were holding 5150 guitars and it was eerie how much they looked alike. Kind of like this one.
Thank you for posting the video. I don't have the words at the moment to describe my connection to the love of a father to a son, and the disconnections of not knowing what it's like to be a genius, generational musician.
