Canadians keep the good stuff to themselves. A friend of mine from Vancouver meet up with me in Atlanta. He bought a bottle with him. REALLY good stuff. 'Yep', he said. 'You are not going to get this in the States. Us Canadians horde it.'

With the COVID lockdown still a bit of a pervasive thing, the idea of partaking in a single malt at midday as well as it being appealing and acceptable behaviour, is alarming.
Crown Royal is good but I don’t know how it compares to the American stuff honestly. I partake more in the green stuff anyways. Haha
We have access to a lot of Canadian blends down here, R&R, Black Velvet, Canadian Club, Canadian Mist, but, I.cry foul. Only those with medical card's have the ability to get the green stuff, legally.

Never was much of a whiskey drinker, navy rum or single malt scotch were my choices for the hard stuff. Reached my life time quota of red wine and booze so I’ve not had a drop of alcohol for about 10 years, but I am glad the green is legal up here.
