when i was a teen, i had a band and we used to open for pantera when they came to town. this was back in their power metal days.
many times we would all go out in some field at night, drunker than hell, and have awesome firecracker wars. it was everyone against everyone, and it was fun.

It’s my rant, and in the 12 years that I’ve been a member here, I haven’t posted as much as a handful of rants. I occasionally start threads but I’m not prolific. If I care to share what I consider important or noteworthy, I do so - in beginning a thread or replying to one.

As @heltershelton noted, it was placed in the Sidewinders forum - a section not bound by subject matter.

I do see that in your 3 years of membership, you have started ONE thread, and replied to about 167.
Maybe you could contribute a little more rather than criticize me.

That's weird. The same exact thing happened to me. I'm lucky to have survived, but all my guns were washed out to sea. Every single last one of them. Not a trace.

    I concur.
Street term is " Don't s--t where you eat."
Not to worry ...there are laws in place to govern the abuse of freedom. You are protected.

I hadn’t thought of it in terms of demographics, but I should.

The fireworks themselves sound awesome to be that close to, I could see it being chaotic with so many pets though.

I have a 2 1/2 story house that literally shakes from the concussion effects.

Would love a nice 45 and/ or a good Glock, but 45's kick the kaka out of my hand and most Glocks cannot be owned by a civilian in my state  however most cops carry them. I am "stuck" with my Beretta FS92 that I can shoot all day without pain or jams, eats anything you can shove in it...Just like my Ruger LCR 38 which is always in my pocket holster, It also eats anything nothing to jam.

I Would love to be there!!! but I am sorry for you not liking it. Too bad you weren't told about the annual fireworks before you bought the house

Not in Mass ! all handguns require a 10 lb pull and a limited 10 rd mag, except the police.

If you need more than 10 rounds, you either need more practice or a different choice of lifestyle. There is no excuse for anyone, including a cop, shooting someone 14 times. That's not "stopping a threat", it's deliberate murder; either coldly calculating or s***-scared, panic-striken incompetence.

I agree, My carry piece is a Ruger LCR 38 with a total of 5 rounds in it :D Only takes ONE to drop a problem.
