Awesome as usual.
what a great intro....
Great cut....evocative of some of Joe Walsh's better stuff.
Really liked everything except the intro
As always, great production and musicianship.. really really nicely done!
The separation through my monitors is delicious, betting it's going to be even better on second listen through the headphones.
Edit: "betting it's going to be even better on second listen through the headphones." YEP! Gorgeous
Great1. It’s like Brian May meets Joe Walsh!
Nice slide work! And your mix is superb.
Gonzo, are you the vocalist as well? What a tune! The slide fills at 2:48 are as good as anything I've ever heard.
Sounds great Gonzo!
Really enjoyed it! Thanks for sharing.
Good to see you back GonZo; great stuff as usual.
aw shucks amstratnut! hey thanks for listening,
i'm so glad someone can enjoy this stuff
hey dublin! so you dig it... check.
i really didn't, when i first recorded it...
in fact, it wasn't there from the beginning, and i added.
then i thought i hated it. then i decided it was quirky enough to leave it in.
wow, dropping joe's name?!
it's funny, when i was first learning guitar, i had a handful of songs that i liked to try to play,
and one of them, was joe's funk #49.
i've always been a joe fan!
thanks thom, i'm glad you got to check this one..
it was a bit of a departure for me,
but a style i think i'll investigate further.
yep, the opening.
i totally know what you mean...
but, it IS a gotch moment, for better, or worse!
It's your song
Play it your way
Ignore the geezer in the fog...
well, i'll tell you, the way i had at first was kinda cool...
i had the opening chord of the start of the rhythm riff, which is the V chord of the structure,
i had that chord sustaining with a noisy slide guitar feeding back into the first downstroke.
it made it kinda sound like something like 'progressive slide'..
i canned it.
shoulda kept it.
Hey cig burn!
I Always try to make D headphone mix work well
That's my favourite way to listen
hey thanks stratobiker
thank you boognish
ha! dropped two names at once! nice...
yea, they'd both be influences, for sure
