As always, great production and musicianship.. really really nicely done!

The separation through my monitors is delicious, betting it's going to be even better on second listen through the headphones.

Edit: "betting it's going to be even better on second listen through the headphones." YEP! Gorgeous

Gonzo, are you the vocalist as well? What a tune! The slide fills at 2:48 are as good as anything I've ever heard.

aw shucks amstratnut! hey thanks for listening,
i'm so glad someone can enjoy this stuff

hey dublin! so you dig it... check.
    some don't.
i really didn't, when i first recorded it...
in fact, it wasn't there from the beginning, and i added.
then i thought i hated it. then i decided it was quirky enough to leave it in.

    wow, dropping joe's name?!
it's funny, when i was first learning guitar, i had a handful of songs that i liked to try to play,
and one of them, was joe's funk #49.
i've always been a joe fan!

    thanks!

thanks thom, i'm glad you got to check this one..
it was a bit of a departure for me,
but a style i think i'll investigate further.

    yep, the opening.

i totally know what you mean...
but, it IS a gotch moment, for better, or worse!

    heheh,
well, i'll tell you, the way i had at first was kinda cool...

i had the opening chord of the start of the rhythm riff, which is the V chord of the structure,
i had that chord sustaining with a noisy slide guitar feeding back into the first downstroke.

it made it kinda sound like something like 'progressive slide'..
    or sumptin.
    i canned it.
    shoulda kept it.
