1. Completely agree.
2. Avoiding lawsuit.
3. Trying to look like a crown.
I don't mind the G & L ..
It's funny... all it would take would be a couple guitar heroes to play one of these uglies and they'd look a lot better. Like when Johnny Winter started playing the Erlewine Lazers and they had instantly elevated status. After I saw him play one for two hours non-stop when he was at his peak in the late '80s, they looked a whole lot better to me!
I have to disagree on the Parker, which I think is objectively beautiful from a design standpoint. But the other three... yeeesh!
Yeah man I’m with you, although the last one doesn’t wanna make me vomit like the center two. My God I can’t even believe someone would even produce that... hideous! Were those really for real?
I haven't seen one headstock in this thread that bothers me.
Once you see the outline of a nutsack on this one, you’ll never not see it again...
LOL!!! Thats like the Amazon penis for me , once you see it you can’t unsee it
But wait.. Hey! What’s wrong with nutsacks? You talkin to me?
I don't know... Could be boobs.
Peter Griffin's chin.
Damn. You ruined it for me. I had always seen a nice ladies rump or rack, but I suppose that make ME the weird one.
I was going to say that!
G&L headstocks look badass, once you get used to them. They just look odd at first because we're so used to looking at traditional Strat headstocks, which are themselves a ripoff of the original Bigsby shape.
Definitely for Alice Cooper fans! Remember the first pressing of "School's Out"?
Thought this was pretty dopey
And would like to knock this but I might need one soon!
This one was designed by a committee for a Committee
I love me Squier headstock that I carved.
Not very pretty, but practical. An arrowhead shape is probably the best (or Fender style 6 in line).
I just find this ugly as heck.
