Definitely the fastest one I’ve ever experienced.

The pre ride announcements/signs said to remove any loose items on person before riding so put my sunglasses in my pocket (mistake). The retainer bar that holds you in crushed them—lenses popped out, mangled mess…

Other than that it was a fun ride!

Happy Valley, somewhere in Michigan, the 70s.
Huge holes in the goofy golf course, canoes infested with spiders, just a damn nightmare.

The Zipper was mentioned.
I was too small for the restraints, slipped out, and rattled around the cage with my yellow nylon jacket wrapped over my face.
I was screaming but the ride continued.
Wheee!

About 10 years ago I took my kids and grandkids to Disneyland and the California Adventure. I found out I'm too old for amusement parks - rides make me sick, hour long lines, walking back and forth across the parks, and you spend an entire day to do five or six attractions. Best part was my hotel bed.

Probably that time I tangled with a security guard at Walley World.

My wife and a few friends were at Disneyworld in the early 80's when the Moroccan exhibit at Epcot opened. Somehow we had our bouzoukis, ouds and dumbeks with us.

(a picture of the wife and I at a Belly Dance gig approximately the same time period)

We found the Moroccan band playing outside at one of the stages near our car, and on the break we started chatting with them.

When they found out we played Middle Eastern music they invited us to jam, and we were having a great time until the Disnoid security showed up. We were told to not bother the band. The Moroccans loudly and repeatedly told the security people "lla" which means "no".

When the security left, the band told us to play with them again! It didn't take long for the security detail to return and told us to stop. More "lla" from the Moroccans.

It was a bit ugly, even though the Disnoids were doing their best to be smiley and pleasant.

Last time I ever went there.

Worst as a patron was at a county carnival. 10 years back, right after we got married, my wife and I went to one for a date night. The first thing we did was fill up on corn dogs, nachos and popcorn. Drank a couple sodas then got on all the spinny rides we could. We learned really quickly that we weren't the kids we used to be. No puking that night but we both wished we would have.
As for an actual amusement park. I worked as a ride operations supervisor at one in college and was in charge of bald of the entire park in my early 20's. My bad experiences were much different as a result. My worst never gets talked about except with a very small group of people. It still haunts me at times. I will say that it had to do with a young girl not following safety protocol.
All that said, I, and my wife, still love going to big amusement parks. We plan to go to Universal Studios Theme Park for our 10th anniversary this year.

I'm also that guy who would have been going here for every one of these experiences before I got married.

I have slowed down a lot in the last decade but I do wear a shirt that explains a lot of my life that says, "Bad Choices Make Good Stories".

Losing my kid for about 5 minutes at Disney Hollywood studios. We were on line for pics with Chewbacca with the family and my wife told me to go take them to a ride with the fast pass while she waited with the little ones because it was a long line. We were exiting the area which had actual props so me and the kids were stopping to look at them. Then I said we need to get going. Of course as we are waking past the actual Death Star used in the movie, me being such a Star Wars dork, I stop in my tracks to admire. Well 3 of my girls stopped but the fourth didn’t realize and kept waking. We got outside and I took attendance and she was not with us. Boy does that wake you up in the morning. It was in the evening and getting dark and hard to see as I’m scanning the crowds. Then the text comes. “Forget it. Line is moving just come back”. As Luke said in Star Wars “boy am I gonna get it”. I relay the news and mrs c is indeed about to kill me. I went to an employee and they were moments from locking down the park when I spotted my daughter with another employee. She knew to immediately go to a Disney employee and it had a happy ending but that 5 minutes felt like 2 hours and took 10 years off my life.

The storm runner is fast too. Said goodbye to my family. Went right on the path to get on line and came around the bushes on the left to rejoin them LOL. Mrs. Thought I chickened out or travelled through time.

We live nearby so to every year. I won’t ever go on that wild mouse ride again. My older daughter who is def blind tried to climb out while the ride was going and I spent the entire ride trying to hold her in. It’s deceptively scary. Or maybe I’m getting old or lest trustful of the structures. I went with my other daughter on the tallest of the three free fall drops. Holy crap. That was a bit nuts.

Went to Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen when i was 15-16 with my class. Ninth grade it must've been. Some of us boys had nachos for lunch, and in hindsight that was a mistake. The rides were very fun up until the last ones, which were too much. One of them physically hurt. We were going home in the evening by train. I felt awful, and after a while i went to the toilet and "painted the sink orange"( yeah i know i should've aimed for the toilet)

Boblo Island, around 1985....it was a beautiful day when we got on the boat, by the time we docked at the island the sky was black and it stormed HARD. When the storm was over the park was closed due to possible wind damage. I was like 12 or 13, and that was my only time ever going to Boblo. I was a Cedar Point fan thereafter. Lol

me and my friends were trying to figure out what all the ghost activity was at the closed amusement park down the street, but it turned out it was the night manager running a scam to smuggle gold cheeseburgers into Staten Island. case closed, but still a bad experience... we were all out of scooby snacks and had no way to celebrate!

Riding the Ninja roller coaster at Six Flags Over Georgia. My wife and I had shoulder bruises and sore necks for a week.
We no longer go to any parks due to too long lines and rude kids.
Funniest episode was at,again Six Flags.
In front of us were two young couples close to starting college. The two girls were "Valley Girls". Over dressed and Tammy Faye Baker make-up on. The boyfriends were laid back and mellow. My wife and I so hoped us two would be on the same ride with these four.
The ride? River Raft,a round eight seater that floats along, occasionally hitting some wavy water and towards the end running under a waterfall, sometimes getting stuck, maybe going round and round.
Paydirt! On the ride across from the four.
The girls are constantly complaining saying "I hope we don't get wet".
The first little splashes of water got them whining.
Then we approach the waterfall.
As we are right at the churning waters it looked like the wrong side-my wife,me,and the others on our side-were going to get the drenching. Then at the last second the ride lurched around quickly and yep! the kids were getting soaked!
When the ride was over and we were disarming the girls were sobbing, snot running down their noses, and of course the makeup. Dripping off of their faces, all over their clothes.
The girls are screaming at their boyfriends-"We're done with you two!","We're going home!" The guys were laughing as they walked away from the girls. One turned around telling my wife and me "I have the keys. Us four rode together".
Always wondering the outcome of those four.
This happened June 1988

Riding the Cyclone roller coaster at Palisades Park (NJ) in the mid-sixties.
Not only was the ride scary as hell, but you could see that pieces of the wooden structure were missing or broken. I thought the whole thing was going to collapse during my ride. When people got off they looked scared to death, and I was one of them. Here's a photo:

Not a park ride but when I was maybe six, my Dad took me on a speedboat ride. All I remember was the noise, the chrome rail beside my seat which meant I couldn’t see out and the force of every wave throwing me around on the hard seat. Convinced I was soon to go overboard it scared me to death. Had nightmares for ages.
