Found this guy who’s selling a ton of guitars. Has a 95 VN5 HSS gold label squier strat, an 89 E series Squier tele, and a probably fake tele with fender parts. All $200. What would you buy and why?

As far as value, which do you think would be worth the most?I’d be tempted by the E9 Tele, but mostly because I haven’t got a Tele at the moment. It could be either laminate or solid with a veneer front and back (my E9 Bullet appears to be the latter). The VN5 Strat on the other hand should be solid wood if that bothers you.
Can’t tell you anything about the “Fender” Tele, except that it doesn’t look like one to me.
Personally, I’d consider $200 a bit steep for any of them, but either of the Squiers should be nice guitars if you can negotiate the price down a little.
None of them. I would buy $200 worth of Truefire lessons instead.Found this guy who’s selling a ton of guitars. Has a 95 VN5 HSS gold label squier strat, an 89 E series Squier tele, and a probably fake tele with fender parts. All $200. What would you buy and why?
Probably the Squier Tele, but I’d still try and get the price down to maybe 160 or something like that.As far as value, which do you think would be worth the most?

How’s the neck? I hear amazing things about the 80s squier necks, are the 90s ones amazing too?I have a VN7 Squier. It's a nice guitar. I'd say it's worth $200. It's not plywood, it's solid alder.
Necks are personal things, but even "great" Korean Squier necks are not worth $200.How’s the neck? I hear amazing things about the 80s squier necks, are the 90s ones amazing too?
