Staying with the Stratocaster style guitar. What other manufacturers would you consider? And yes I’m bored outta my mind. I’d consider Kirn , Suhr , PRS and Tokai.
Yamaha Pacifica 611 hardtail or trem, 612 trem or G&L Legacy/S-500/Comanche either USA or tribute model depending on how much you want to spend
My ESP GL-56 and 80s Navigator are both great (just started a new thread about ESPs). I would love to check out their vintage 400 model. Can the EBMM Cutlass and Sabre be included? I also owned a Haar that was great too.
I have Tokai for Strat model, Tokai for Tele model, Tokai For Les Paul model, Tokai for Martin model and Tokai for Tokai model.
For free, I'd consider all of them!!! Nash, Harper, Suhr, Kirn, etc. For their current prices, I'd consider none of them, at this point. Not at all an insult to the guitar or its maker.. only the fact that I feel like I can get (and already have) a guitar that does what's required, reliably, for a fraction of that price.
Prs CE. That's the bolt on neck prs. I don't need one, I don't need anything really, but I wouldn't mind having one either!
Hahaha! Apologies, but the thread goes on. Not Suhr...not Anderson...not any of the expensive (supposedly) improved boutique brands of Stratocasters with their really ugly headstocks. The only Strat style for me anymore is a Fender and preferably US made. Been playing professionally for over 59 years now and have owned or played just about everything and years ago came to the realization that for the Strat quality, sound and feel, make it a Fender Stratocaster. The other boutique stuff is different in ways that some players prefer, but you can't convince me it's better. If I want another brand of guitar, it won't be a Strat style. It will be a Gibson Les Paul !
Well all I can say is I doubt you've played many Suhrs. Because for an S-type guitar, the quality, sound and feel exceeds anything ever made by Fender (IMHO, of course). They may not have "mojo" but I can live without it... BTW - Suhrs are no more expensive than a decent Fender.
Well others cant convince you that the X logo guitar is better but you havent convinced anyone why the strat is better also....i guess you said they have better looking headstocks...is that all?
