I understand the question is not what your fav strat model is, but if you where a strat... what model would that be.

2005 CIJ ST72 with Blackmore 'signature series' pups and electronics in a mint '62 style guard.

Feels like it was hewn from one piece of material ... incredibly well made instrument. I'm no experienced musician but I love a strat and pick up everyone I see that I can and I've not found it's better yet.

My '93 Strat Plus Deluxe. Close second '90 Plus Deluxe.

I love the Plus series. Brings me back to a magical time in my life.
Bought my '93 new, when I was 20. Oh, to be 20 again lol.

Life was simple, cassettes, CD's, LP's. Pay phones. No massive bills, no kids to worry about lol.

Everytime I see the tell tale signs of a Plus/PlsDlx/Ultra (and at a glance it's easy) I'm brought back to those days.

 

I usually play my Tele but if I had to chose it would be this one. CS 60’s Relic.
