See! I told you so!!!
Fiesta red and a gold pickguard, with dark rosewood neck ,gold hardware, and cream pickup covers and knobs!
I'm sure you will choose what your heart desires, and your taste. You do not care about voting, and as a saying goes, the wrong choice will show you the right one!
Oh sure! So you can blame us if you don't like the one 'we' picked
well, the red is the winner (60% of votes). Anyway I decided to get the white!
Kind of the point of "Custom", huh?
For the kind of scratch they are charging they'll bedazzle the thing if you want.
The red one would have had a much faster neck, but ....................
That actually makes sense, Olympic White is a GM Truck color, and as you know, many popular guitar colors are copied off of car paint jobs.
Red with a gold pick guard. Here’s my AV65.
the white one looks sick
IMHO the Fiesta Red will age better giving you a more interesting guitar years down the road.
Granted, this is just my $.02 Cents.
Ultimately you really can't go wrong either way.
Sorry Houston ORANGE is a problem.
The white ( I personally approve of White Blonde however) but with a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Gold pick guard - man you crazy?
It's only rock 'n' roll.....but I like it.
You already know which one you prefer (I bet). Better run with that.
Can't really lose as far as I can tell.
I went the other way. I have on order from Dave's Guitars a Fiesta Red with mint guard 62 RI Thin Skin.
It really depends on what kind of music you're playing. Music style decides your color man. Clearly the red will work better with certain kinds of music and the white and gold pick guard works for other kinds of music.
So the real question is what does the color say about the music you're playing?
Fiesta red and white pickguard seems more classic to me. I much favor a rosewood to maple fretboard. I just bought an Am Prof ii in Miami Blue with white pickguard and rosewood board and it looks great - very rock and roll.
Not one of the choices, but I have a transparent Sapphire Blue Deluxe which I think is beautiful.
Fiesta red ....no better colour although I'd go with a rosewood fingerboard, and mint pickguard with offwhite pickup covers...( or a brown tort pickguard)...( also big CBS headstock!).....
Red, no question
If the gold pickguard matches gold painted fingernails, then go with the gold, if not , fiesta and white will be the right choice.
