50's and 60's strats were mass produced by hands. This will never beat the efficiency of machines. Pre CBS strats arent better, they're different. People still living in those two decades don't make the guitars better.

I agree with every single thing written by every person here. And...I think Lace Sensor Golds sound just as vintage-y as any of the so-called vintage voiced pickups, only without the hum.
I would never buy the Yamaha THR10 or whatever it's called because it reminds me of the professor's "transistor radio" from Gilligans island. I'm sure it's amazing, it's just an issue I have with it. No offense
