    John Squire

    Warren Ellis

    Nels Kline

Prince (well he was solo with a piano at the time but it was still one of the best performances I’ve ever seen by a guitar player, man is a legend - I don’t even like Prince!!)

    David Gilmore

    J Mascis

    Robben Ford

Some Dude from Mali who was playing in Wellington for the Jazz festival - I can’t pronounce his name but it was stunning and took me off an a long and pleasurable journey into Music from Mali

    Nick Mcabe

Annie Clark (St Vincent) took my daughter and was blown away

there is undoubtably more but those are what springs to mind without thinking about it too much.

Sadly a lot of guitarists I like died before I'd even heard of them, so I will never get to see most of my favourites live. I'll try and make a list anyway, but I don't think I'll make it to 10:
    John Norum (Europe)
Wille Edwards (Wille and the Bandits)
    Alan Nimmo (King King)
    Erm...
    My mate Jack's pretty good

    ...

    No, I've run out. :D
