I saw Steve Morse and Gilmour. I was in the first row when seeing Deep Purple and Morse's guitar amps were right in front of me. He sounded louder than the rest of the stage including Gillan.

On the Gilmour concert it was a big stadium so I got to hear his guitar through the PA. I've never heard a guitar so clear yet pleasant. His guitar echoed through the stage as if I was surrounded by it. His sound had that watery texture that is so hard to duplicate.

I was almost 11. In 1969. My sisters boyfriend was adamant that I go to all the concerts with them. He also took me to see the Byrds in 1966 at Paul G Blazier High School

    Charleston Civic Center.

May 10, 1969 The Experience arrived in Charleston, West Virginia

The Experience arrived in Charleston, West Virginia and reserved rooms at the Hart O’Town Motor Inn prior to their performance that evening at the Charleston Civic Centre. Following his performance, Hendrix was interviewed by Ray Brack for a Charleston Gazette article published the following week.

As I see everyone's list I realize how easy it could be to miss someone, and how hard it is to to limit it to 10

    A couple I haven't seen on anyone's list yet..

    Andres Segovia
    Greg Koch

..and a bunch of the rest that seem to get listed a fair bit
    Jeff Beck
    Jimmy Page
    Michael Schenker
    Steve Howe
Steve Morse (Dregs or solo, can't remember..)
    Eric Johnson
    Steve Vai
    Brian May
