The real question for those who play guitar and not just collect them is how does it play?
If its a great player and the price is right what does it matter what sticker is on it?

Going to assume what matters is monetary value. I'm going to go out on a limb that it's a really inexpensive asking price relative to a USA Fender but not so inexpensive relative to a Temu Stratocaster.

Temu guitar could be a great playing guitar but I would still want to pay Temu price rather than USA price.

I took a harley benton silver sparkle to GC. All the counter jocks ooohed and aaahed over it. What a nice guitar it was why you wanna sell it etc etc.
I said yes its a great guitar how much you give me?
The answer " nothin, its a harley benton" I laughed outloud for over a minute. They were lookin at me like I was gonna take a crap on the floor. I said you realize how rediculus you sound? Just a minute ago you were praising this guitar and then you @hi$ all over it for the name on the headstock. Its mental.

Lack of walnut plug, and the black gasket under the neck plate. Trem cover lacks offset holes. I'm sure there's more.
Anyone can put a gasket under a neck plate so it doesn't dig into the wood. I have them on all of my S-types. Anybody can put a different rear cover on, as well. Offset screws or not. 🤔🤔🤔🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

That's like people using tuners and nut and saddles and pickguard to determine authenticity. That's the last thing you use. People can swap those parts in minutes. No one with any sense would use that to determine authenticity, imo.

The truss rod plug? Sure. The body shape? Yep. The headstock shape? Yep. 12th fret dot spacing? YES! Anything else that can't be swapped out for something else in 60 seconds? Yes! Those are the kinds of things that should be used, IMO. Things that can't be changed in 2 minutes by literally anyone.

Why do people insist on using easily replaceable accessories to determine authenticity? I don't get it.

It's a genuine imitation artificial, the same thing, only different. Never mind the copyright and trademark infringements, cheap parts, fraud, etc...
Buy it, play it, enjoy it, destroy it..

.....and the pot knobs are raised too high above the pkgrd, and the holes for the saddle screws look misaligned ie they should be straight along the back see pic.

That one pickguard screw is a half a mm off. It has a oh so slight gap on the port side of the neck pocket. One of the tuners is a smidge off center. The tone knob is not level. Etc etc. Its fake. Its not a real guitar. RUN AWAY!!!!!

Here's another with the same serial.

That should always be your first check. Google the serial number. If it's a fake, it'll be used on multiple guitars like this one is. Here's a black one with the same serial.

Here's just a neck that sold for $15 with that serial
