Wife’s been weeping all day today - she says to give her few more to settle down. And we don’t have any experience with daughters - that’s probably whole another level of heartache. 🥹

Totally get it. Out of sorts for months as I recall.

My wallet also cried from hemorrhaging out of state tuition payments!

A bachelors from Indiana, Bloomington was the biggest chunk. Got both of my kids through tertiary education with no debt. It sure is nice having my monthly burn rate back within the stratosphere.

Grandson is headed to Michigan next week for aeronautical engineering. It's big league and he's ready for it. Mom and Dad and family are holding back the tears, but it's time.

The Mom will be weeping, I'll pretend that I won't. At least I still have another one.

He is on engineering track, paying tuition largely from his own savings.

Looks a little young for college, but some can start earlier.

As a single parent, I took my (only child) daughter to college. It was a tough leaving her in the dorm, walking to the car, and driving home alone to a now empty house.
