Tropical Turquoise - other than the EJ

How often has Fender made Strats in this color? Regular production or special runs? Is the EJ the only nitro finish?

I know they made other colors that are close from taos to the more common daphne.

I believe Elite was in Turquoise. Polyurethane though

They did a limited run of 62' re-issues in Tropical Turquoise a few years back. You see them crop up occasionally.

I am the proud owner of this fantastic 2012 AVRI 62 in Tropical Turquoise.It sat unsold in a store in Los Angeles called California vintage guitars for several years.I would take roadtrips to LA since 2016 and every time I would go back she was still there.I must have seen her 3 times prior but the 4th time I returned last year I broke down and pulled the trigger.I suspect she never sold because the action was ridiculously high and not very playable but I know how to set up a guitar so with a few turns on the trussrod she is now a fantastic player.What a score!!

Another FSR AVRI '62 Tropical Trruqoise here, brought it with me in EU from Montreal... amazing guitar, maaaan I love it! Limited series, only 250 made.

That's an amazing color for a Strat, I'm surprised they don't use it more often.

I'm a huge fan of this color....
Wasn't able to find one to purchase, so had a local guitar builder take my 2018 Road Worn Sunburst and re-finish it with turquoise nitro. Did a bit of relic'ing to match the road worn neck with and this is the result.

Nice finish.
The Original line could certainly benefit. The finish range on those is quite bland IMO
